Solid Workmanship NEEDS to Be Shared
Let me start by saying I do not write reviews unless I am truly "wow'd" by an experience with any company. I had reached out to Gerry and his team a while ago for an estimate - which he was able to provide to me within 24 hours of my request. He again promptly filled me into his schedule, and gave me clear guidelines on what to do in preparation for arrival. Clear communication is something you rarely get with good home-contracting companies these days...along with actually delivering on and following what you say you are going to do!
So, Gerry arrived at my home on my scheduled day...and guess what?? I left pretty much all of the windows open in the house!!! Something that he VERY clearly asked to ensure I did, since I wasn't going to be home when he arrived that day. He called/texted/FB messaged, etc...though unfortunately I was on a train in NYC and did get his messages until later. I apologized up and down...though Gerry handled it like a professional, told me not to worry about it - and filled me back into his schedule...and within only a few weeks, during his busiest time of year.
Fast forward to the new date...i made sure the windows were closed and the house is ready...and we run into snag #2. When Gerry and his team arrive and are setting up - a neighbor of mine decides he is going to give them a hard time, asking what chemicals he will be spraying into the air, and flat out being "unruly." While I’m sure it was difficult for him to do, Gerry and his team handled themselves with professionalism...packed up their stuff, and moved on to their next job.
Again Gerry tried to reach me numerous times...though I of course was working and missed his calls. Gerry explained what had happened, and at that point I was confident that there was no way he was going to want to come back to my house! Not only did he put me back into his schedule, though filled me in within a couple weeks. Today I met Gerry and his team prior to them starting the job. They were courteous, arrived when they said they would, took all necessary steps to protect my house prior to starting the job, and the end result is SPECTACULAR.
They even went above and beyond and washed my entire front stoop...which was not a part of the agreed upon job scope. Experiences like this NEED to be shared - and you can be sure that I will recommend Gerry and Petersen Pressure Wash to all family and friends. Most companies can handle the "easy" jobs without screwing up...it's when faced with adversity that the companies with solid disciplines and processes really shine.
